Since I'm a noob with this whole website management thing, I didn't copy the new forum upgrade correctly but it's fine I'm reuploading it now (which will take time) and then I should perform the upgrade! As far as I'm aware, the forums content, usernames and such are all intact it's just a matter of installing it correctly.
Worst case scenario I have a complete backup from this morning prior to the upgrade so nothing will be lost save for the forum posts made after the backup time!
