Games worth playing in 2013

If you have been wondering what games you should be playing this year, I've made a small list of all games that are worth playing this year! These are all great games, each have their own unique style. I've been a gamer since I was a child, I remember my uncle first bought me the Atari 2600, he got it from the USA and it was such a big deal! I think I was 2-3 years old at the time! I don't really remember but I've been playing since then.

Anyway, here's the list this is in no particular order, just what came to mind first they're all amazing!

-League of Legends - MOBA

I played League of Legends since it was first out on beta, I think it was run by GOA at the time till it was later on bought by Riot. This game for me is just pure fun, no matter what I always end up going back to this game because I just love the PvP experience in it! Obviously League of Legends is one of the greatest games right now, the developers dedication to make it globally renowned, they recently started Season 3 so any new gamers should join now while the Season just started!

-World of Warcraft - MMORPG

Another game I've been playing since it was first released, I was still in school during my GCSEs and I was so addicted to it, and I've played through all it's content PvP and PvE. I even got really addicted at a point that I sold my account to leave the game forever, but soon after Wrath of the Lich King was released, I fell into temptation again and I started my journey through Azeroth. But as far as gameplay is concerened Wrath of the Lich king and Cataclysm were not exactly top notch, they were easier and more simple to play losing the original essence of WoW. When Mists of Pandaria got released, I was skeptical about continuing WoW but when I got it I fell in love with it again, it offered the same vanilla feel with the hardcore grinding and gearing up.

Guild Wars 2 - MMORPG

I will be honest, I was never a huge fan of the original Guild Wars, but when Guild Wars 2 was out, I had to check it out, the game didn't fall any short of what I expected, even exceeded what I had hoped for. I played this while watching an Anime called Sword Art Online and this game just made my fantasy come true, immersing you in a ever changing environment and you'll never get bored leveling up! So this is defiantly one for your collection

Skyrim - Open World RPG

Skyrim, where do I start, the first few minutes of playing it, I didn't fully get into it but after giving it another shot, this is by far my favourite game, and obviously one of the best games out there! I've been a fan of the Elder Scrolls trilogy for a long time now, this has set the standards by far, from content, to lore, to gameplay and to killing dragons! I probably won't stop playing this game, I'll always play it and always find something new to do. I'm biased when it comes to Skyrim, but it deserves me being biased! So if you haven't started on Skyrim yet, go get it now! Get the expansion packs too! You will not be disappointed.

Planetside 2 - MMOFPS

Planetside was awesome since the first one, the second one being MMOFPS made it even more fun! I didn't play this game much but it's without a doubt an awesome game to try, especially if you enjoy teaming up with a few friends and shooting some aliens.

Hawken - Mech Shooter

When you think 'mech shooter' the first words that spring to mind are 'lumbering' and / or 'slow'. Hawken changes that, by offering the customisation and versatility of walking tanks and combining them with the pace of a proper PC shooter. It's lead many people to dub the game 'Walking World of Tanks'. That's definitely a compliment, by the way. It's in open Beta now, and there's plenty of game to play through before you need to spend a penny.

Borderlands 2 - RPG FPS

I first played Borderlands on playstation with my brother, we were playing splitscreen and we played it without end and completing the game in less than a week. Now imagine how amazing Borderlands 1 was, okay? Now triple that and you get Borderlands 2, with constant DLC releases you'll never get bored, especially that you can gather a few friends and go multiplayer mode! Now that's some great fun you can't resist!

Call of Duy: Black Ops 2 - FPS

Played Call of Duty since the first one, loved it, loved the second and loved them all! This is my favourite FPS, the single player mode without a doubt has the best stories, best action and really immerses you into that war environment. Followed by the Multiplayer mode, every time I play this I want to be the top player in the game with the most kills, least deaths and hearing that "gg" at the end of it! So if you want to enjoy the modern world of weapons and mayhem then this is the game for you!

Honorable mentions: Farcry 3, Dishonored, Spiderman, Assassin's Creed and Battlefield

So here's my list of all the games that I think you guys should play, there are other games that I didn't list but for a reason... When you play lots and lots of games, certain games have to really captivate you or give you something different and the games listed above did so!
